Jake English

The young man who started the Alpha Omega gang to oppose the rival gangs of Prospit and Derse, and in doing so founded the Hope Casino and Hotel as a symbol of peace for Skaia City's new age. He currently lives in a three bedroom house on top of English Shooting Range along with his niece Jade Harley and his friend's nephew John Egbert, both of which he trained himself to be assassins worthy of the English name. When he's not playing in his own range with Jade or watching movies with John, he's running an underground weapons dealership out of the basement of the range. English Arms is open to anyone who has the right price as Jake has enough confidence in his family that no matter what weapons he sends to their opposition, they'll always come out on top. A theory that's backfired a couple times, but not often enough to risk him blowing his cover. And while he never interferes directly, he's always updated about what's going on with Doc Scratch and every major decision for the gang is always his call in the end.

Dirk "Bro/Di-Stri" Strider

Originally Jake's right hand man, Dirk has taken up the job as one of the top hitman and trainers in the family. A bit of bad vodka induced decisions had him as a father at the age of 17, though the lucky part was that it was with one of his best friends so they managed to work something out between them. Out of the pair of twins that resulted in their tryst, he took the boy and raised him as his little brother while Ms. Lalonde raised the girl as her daughter. Though it was a bit silly considering they saw each other at work daily and the children were raised as practically siblings anyway due to them both being involved in the family business, but it made Dirk more comfortable thinking of Dave as his little brother and treating him as such. Though his position was thrown off when Doc Scratch took in one young Eridan Ampora, age 13, and decided the boy would be the "poster girl" of their casino. For three years it was Dirk's job to keep an eye on the boy, make sure he didn't try to do something stupid like escape while at the same time acting as the boy's only confidence and bodyguard so he didn't do something stupid like getting himself hurt. The kid was a brat, but as no one other than a tiny handful were allowed to know it even WAS a boy, he spent a lot of his time making sure the little brat was at least happy most of the time. But by the time the kid was 16, Dirk was needed elsewhere and Dave was finally old and trained enough to take his place as the bodyguard of the "princess".

Roxy "Ro-Lal" Lalonde

One of the few left who know of the real face behind Alpha Omega, she's a carefree single mom who has impeccable aim with her rifles even when completely smashed. A feat in itself that makes her notorious, as the rare times she goes out sober it's always amazing and rather frightening to watch. However, she spends most of her time in their computer room gathering information of the other gangs and their next moves. It's thanks to her and a few select others that Alpha Omega will always be one step ahead of the rest.

Jane Crocker & Mr. Egbert

The new owner of Betty Crocker, she lives with her half brother Mr. Egbert in a small town in Washington. She hasn't seen her friends since they were younger, but she still speaks with them on a daily basis so that all of them can keep in touch. She's rather glad Jake was kind enough to offer John a place with him so Jade would have a friend, especially since Skaia is known for having some of the best colleges in the country. Mr. Egbert and Jane were both convinced it was the best for John, and he seems happy with his current living arrangements and is in well health each time he visits home, so they don't suspect a thing. They have no idea about Jake starting and running a mafia, the others felt it best that part stay in Skaia. Besides, Jane never asked.

Dorian "Doc" Scratch

An elder gentleman who always has an air of mystery about him that one can't quite place. According to public knowledge he is the founder and owner of Hope Casino and Hotel, in inner circles he's known as the leader of the Alpha Omega family. He has four daughters he's rather proud of, and a grandchild he rather wishes he didn't have. In fact he never even acknowledged the child or allowed his daughter to care for it. The father was forced to take the child once it was born and it was never allowed to know who it's mother was if it could be helped. It was for the best really, his image would be ruined if word got out that he was a grandfather when his eldest daughter was barely sixteen. Assuming it wasn't already ruined by the fact that it was previously rumored that he had two different mistresses, thus why his four daughters had last names which differ from his own.

Kait Peixes

The eldest of Scratch's four daughters, she's a little spoiled and a lot of bitch if you get on her bad side. She's never cared for her father's business, and actually cares very little about most things if they're not entertaining to her. While not quite a rebellious girl, she had always been rather aloof and uncaring of her father's new business. It was common to find her out on the floor of the casino, hassling employees or working behind the bar just to entertain herself with the misery of those who overreacted a bit whenever they happened to lose a large sum of money. One employee she had always been interested in was one Alhen Captor. They had met when her father first met Mr. English and his cohorts, and she had immediately taken an interest in the boy. He was different, and different was always fun. Though when she ended up pregnant because of a few not so well placed decisions, her father was less than pleased. She wasn't really ready to be a responsible boring mother anyway, so she didn't even complain when the child was meant to be raised by the father away from her. She felt mildly bad for her new "friend" but not enough to bother trying to go against Scratch and his orders. To this day, she's never even bothered more than occasionally asking if Sollux is still alive.

Shera Megido

The second eldest of Scratch's daughters, she's a bit more obedient and knowledgeable about her father's business. unlike her elder sister, Shera grew out of her rebellious phase a long time ago and not only works as her father's right hand but also takes it upon herself to join the other assassins in the field when the need arises. Because of course no one would suspect the beautiful woman, and sometimes that naive belief is all they need to have an edge. And luckily for her, the only one who happened to be suspicious was one Caliborn Cherub of Derse. While she's unsure of his motives, he has yet to out her so she's fairly certain he just enjoys the chaos that follows behind her, even if it happens to be the fall of his own men. One of these days she might go for him, but as of yet he's considered harmless by Boss. Though it's still suggested anyone avoid him if at all possible, the man seems a bit unhinged at times. Along with her older sister, she is fully aware that Jake English is the real leader of the family but she plays along as her father instructs. As far as most of the family is concerned, either her or her elder sister will be inheriting the family when her father passes.

Rufio Nitram

While he was one of the original members of the Alpha Omega family, he was also the first to back out of the business shortly after it was founded. He didn't like Scratch, but more than that he had the job of raising his younger brother Tavros and had no interest in getting the kid involved in something so dangerous, or risk himself dying and leaving the boy behind. He keeps in touch now and then, but not often enough to get the boy too close to danger. Losing a few friends is a small price to pay to keep a child safe. Even if said child becomes a bit of a wild rebel from lax half assed parenting, so long as the boy's happy and safe it's fine.

Alhen "Psi" Captor

The second best hitman in Alpha Omega, Alhen loves his job and the excitement that comes with it. He enjoys the class of the casino and the sense of lingering danger that comes with the side jobs. He had a short fling with Scratch's eldest daughter when they first met, half out of genuine interest in her and her dangerous aura and half just to piss of Scratch himself. Which of course he counts as a total success given how things went down. He loves his son Sollux more than anything, and for twenty years managed to keep the boy safely away from the dangerous life he lived in the shadows. But all good things come to an end, and the time eventually came where he had to come clean. Because sometimes the strings of fate never agree with a parents plan, and he's half certain that how it all went down may have something to do with karma getting him back for the spite that was involved around Sollux's birth.

Kulira Vantas

One of Jake's original enablers, he was more than ready to help him start up a family to take out the chaos that had fallen over their city. A good leader with sound ideas, Jake pretty much left most of the original planning up to Kulira and Dirk. Like Alhen, Kulira thought it best to leave his son Karkat out of the family business for his own safety. And when his daughter Nepeta was born a few years later, him and his wife felt it best to leave the family all together. Keeping one child safe in such a dangerous life was one thing, but two was pushing it. And it worked for a while, just a happy family of four on the outskirts of town. But nothing stays buried forever, and it was a short matter of time before the rival gangs found them and caught them unaware. Both Kulira and his wife were killed, their nine and six year old children never found by the members of Alpha Omega who got there too late.

Leona Leijon-Vantas

Another of the firsts, she followed her love Kulira and trusted his judgment on most matters. As a deadly hand to hand fighter with almost animal like speed, she was just as valuable to the original campaign of Alpha Omega as he. When not on missions, she made it her personal job to keep track of the paperwork going in and out of Hope. It wasn't like she didn't think Scratch could do it himself, she just didn't trust him enough to do it to Jake's specifications at first and wanted to make it clear to him that while he was in charge by image, they would always be watching him to make sure he never tries to go behind Jake's back. It was her who made this the most clear, and possible the reason why Scratch's mild disobedient streak was quickly diminished. Her and Kulira both backed out after their daughter Nepeta was born, confident the others would be able to keep Hope the way it's meant to be and that they would manage fine without them. However the peace only lasted six years before they were found. With her last strength she hid her children away and told her son that the first chance he gets to take his sister and run, and don't stop for anything.

Rosa Maryam

A mother figure of the group, she never quite got into the assassin scene. She gave her support and did what she could from the sides, mainly taking care of the children while the others were busy with work. When word reached them that Kulira and Leona had died, she wished to take her daughter Kanaya and make herself as scarce as possible. But by that time, little Kanaya had grown far too attached to one of the other children there and Rosa didn't have it in her heart to make them part. So with full faith in her family, she left her daughter with them and went into hiding alone. Now and then she can be reached if needed, as the only one with information of her location is Kanaya herself, but she prefers to stay out of matters. Kulira was like a little brother or a son to her, and she knows he would have wanted her to stay safe. She only regrets not going with him when he left in the first place. One of her lesser regrets is harboring and covering for a thief on occasion, but she hasn't quite made up her mind if that's such a terrible thing or not.

Ela "Redglare" Pyrope

A prominent lawyer in Skaia, one of the best there is really, she got her nickname from the bright red shades she never removes as they shield her eyes and make it easier to intimidate in the court of law. She has no connection to the Alpha Omega gang other than mild suspicions of the Hope Casino and Hotel. But with how wealthy the business is and the unnatural peace in Skaia, there is no evidence of illegal activities going on. She can't seem to figure out why she's the only one who can see it, the rest of the city seems to be too blinded by the peace to wonder just what caused the sudden change so many years ago. When not wondering what the hell Scratch is really up to, she has her hands full with a certain thief who is damn near impossible to convict. She's determined to be the first one to put her behind bars, if only those damn police could catch her more than once a year in the first place.

Vespa "Mindfang" Serket

While not connected to Alpha Omega she views herself as a freelance thief, a modern day pirate if you will, and the best damn one there is. Not much is known about the notorious Mindfang, but there's rumors that when she has to lay low or needs an alibi, there's a woman who has never failed to cover for her and is most likely the reason she's stayed out of jail for so long. However, his is merely a rumor and has never been confirmed.

Kaus Zahhak

An upstanding member of society and CEO of a large chain of car manufacturers and repair shops, Kaus has never been one to take insubordination lightly. While rather intimidating to most, he has a bit of a soft heart. As was best shown when he found a small girl washed up on the side of the river crying, with no memory of anything other than her name and the name "Karkitty" (whom he assumed was the girl's lost kitten), and took the child in to raise along his own son. Both him and his son Equius took to the child fast enough, she was the sweetest thing they had ever seen and quickly settled her place firmly in their family as the baby girl no one was allowed to touch over pain of death. While he was still strict with his son to a degree, little Nepeta Zahhak was spoiled rotten and even more so when the being spoiled never once went to her head. He was proud of both of his children, even if he wasn't the type to show it openly or even mention it without prodding from an overly cheery little girl who wanted to cheer up her big strong brother.

Gied Makara

Like Mindfang, very little is known about Mr. Makara other than you wouldn't want to meet him in a dark ally. Spending most of his life as a prison warden, rumors about torturing criminals into rehabilitation spread wide but were never proven. After he retired at a relatively young age, more rumors arose about him being seen with members of the Derse gangs, but once more. Either there was nothing to prove of any of the witnesses were too afraid to talk.

Kae "Dualscar" Ampora

The eldest son of the wealthy Ampora family, he's well known for his addiction to gambling. And of course for winning, though not always through completely honest methods. His biggest mistake was trying to cheat over a certain blackjack dealer at Hope Casino. Mr. Captor was sharp, and saw Ampora's tricks for what they were. But instead of outing him on it, he set a trap for Ampora. And not knowing when to quit and refusing to admit defeat, Dualscar landed himself in a rather hefty debt he was unable to pay off. It was Megido and Captor who went to the Ampora manor to collect their payment, preferably in the form of Dualscar himself being sold over to them to pay off his debts with work. However they weren't willing to let go of their heir, and instead offered their younger son Eridan over as payment instead. After much deliberation and the assurance that Eridan looks like a perfect angel if he were to be dressed up, the offer was accepted. Dualscar felt mild guilt, but not enough to care about getting his brother back. His parents had much the same idea, faking the young boy's death only days after he was sold.

Sn0wman

No one knows her real name or exactly where she came from, but it's rumored that she's the former leader of the Derse underground who was exiled due to unknown circumstances. She currently works for Alpha Omega, one of the very few who work for Scratch directly and as such is one of the ones who has no knowledge of Mr. English. She's a last resort, preferring to work in the casino as a singer for the band that's always on stage. The band itself wasn't very pleased to see her, but Scratch insisted they learn to get along. It's also rumored there's something going on between her and the band's pianist, but the latter would deny that with threat of death to anyone who asked.

Midnight Crew

A gang that used to run big in Derse, but not only were they against the Prospit gangs but also other Derse gangs as well. They basically didn't play well with anyone, despite being the smallest gang out of all of them. Even with only four people, they took down anything in their way with flawless effort. No one knows their real names and they intend to keep it that way and are really just one step away from legally changing them anyway. If only that didn't involve the courthouse they try so hard to avoid getting anywhere near. But they're not stupid, and Slick really doesn't have any loyalty to Derse. When they saw there was a bigger and better family in town that were taking down wise guys from both sides, he saw it in their best interest to lay low and be careful with their moves. Now it can be said that the Crew is heartless, but the fact that when they found a fourteen year old brat with a big mouth and a fiery temper on the streets of Derse as they were considering relocating, they picked the kid up and took him along for the ride. No one questioned why Slick took such a liking to the brat, but he quickly took up the place of a father that was apparently killed a few years before. And just a year after pulling the brat into their little group, the Crew finally made the decision to join Alpha Omega. Partly just as a big "fuck you" to Derse and partly because Droog insisted it was the best plan for all of them. Though Scratch was smart enough to have them sign a contract, because they were meant to go undercover as a band for the casino and the moment Slick saw who their singer would be he tried to back out and go back to Derse. But there's no breaking a contract he can't find, so they had to simply settle and deal with it.

Jade Harley

niece of Jake English, a plane crash killed both her parents. Luckily the pilot was able to save her and get her back to mainland so that she could be sent to Skaia City into the custody of Jake. She was more than happy to be with him and his dog Bec, taking an instant liking to guns and giving him hope for her future. As soon as she was able to handle the kick, Jake had her learning to fire guns and even before then was spent on teaching her how to clean and take them apart. There were never any secrets between them, Jade knew at a young age that her uncle was killing bad people and saw nothing wrong with it in the way he put it. Those people were bad and would do bad things, and in order to keep their city peaceful they had to go away. By age 13 she was going with him on his hits, immediately taking up the job flawlessly. She didn't really have many friends at the time, and didn't feel like she needed any aside from Rose and Dave, two kids who would come over now and then with their guardians when the elders came to visit Jake. But her best friend came in a source she didn't expect, a boy about her age sulking around the outside of the range, looking like he was trying to hide from something. She immediately jumped on him with questions, and the more she saw him there she started asking him to come inside and play with her. Which eventually lead to him staying the night for reasons he didn't want to discuss and by the time they were in their late teens it was completely normal to find him at her door at odd hours of the night saying that he couldn't sleep at home for reasons she almost wished were still unknown. No one but a select few know, but Jade is the real heiress to Alpha Omega and she's more than willing to train to be the best boss she can be one day.

John Egbert

His childhood was normal for the most part, raised in a small town in Washington with his dad and his aunt. John was always a good boy with good grades and when his aunt asked him if he'd like a chance to go to a better school up in Skaia city with a friend of hers, he was a bit hesitant at first. But he knew Jake just a bit from when the man would come at least once a year to visit, and knew the little girl Jade he lived with as well. Confident that it was like a new adventure he agreed. If only he had known what was waiting for him, he probably would be unsure if he still would have taken it or not. It was only after a few weeks staying there that was the first time Jade came back home late at night, blood on her dress and a sheepish smile on her face that he found out the truth. John was almost unnaturally strong, and Jake wanted him to learn to use that to protect Jade. He was mildly horrified the first time he followed Jade on one of her jobs, freezing up and not quite sure what to think. But her and Jake sat him down, explained that they were bad people and Jake was only trying to keep the peace in this city he loved so much. It was a slow process over two years, but John eventually readily accepted his place as Jade's partner and bodyguard and became just as adamant about the family as Jake was. He quickly became friends with Rose and Dave after that, and even with the angry boy that always hung out with Jade. Despite the boy's constant protests. Sometimes he wonders if it should be bad that he no longer feels guilty for lying to his dad and aunt, but reasons that it's really for the best. He doesn't want them to worry.

Rose Lalonde

Never quite told just who her father was, it didn't take the sharp girl long to find out about it and be rather amused they thought that it wouldn't be anything but obvious. But seeing as how her brother never quite caught on, she let them keep with the delusion. While she was never one to go out on missions or even intel like her mother, Rose took up a position along with her friend Kanaya as the menders of the family. They would tend to those that were injured to avoid hospitals and questions best left unanswered, as well as fixing the clothing that was damaged in the process. Aside from that, as she grew into her teens and later she became the official therapist of the family, completely able to handle any and all problems that were brought to her by the others. Her and Kanaya were some of the very few to know the true identity of the "Princess", being the ones who taught "her" how to act like a lady in public and worked on containing "her" temper issues on top of it all.

Dave Strider

Raised as the younger brother of Dirk Strider, Dave was made to be a hitman from the day he could walk. The sword was his life and killing was in the family business, he was the youngest to go along with the elders on a mission and the first to kill with only a minor flinch. But even with all that, he was still allowed to be a kid. At least twice a week he was taken along with Rose to meet Jade, and the three of them would dork around like most kids tend to do. He was never told his true purpose though, that Dirk was training him to one day be Jade's right hand when she took over. He wasn't even ever told that Jake was above Scratch, being one of the ones fully under the impression that Scratch was the real boss of the family and thus never suspicious about how adamant his Bro was that he make nice with Jade. But things changed when he was sixteen, when he was finally old enough to get a private assignment of his own.

He had, like almost everyone else, been under the impression that the "Princess of Hope" was a sweet mute girl named Dani that was adopted by Scratch, who was shy around people and had to be kept at least ten feet from the general public when she made her appearances. The reality that it was a boy named Eridan who was a little bitch at best, spoiled demanding and ungrateful as hell, was a shock to say the least. He was told that Eridan had to be kept away from the others not because of what others might do to him, but because of what he might do if others got too close to him. His temper had never fully gone away despite the attempts of Kanaya and Rose. Dave quickly went from indignant to feeling sorry for him, realizing the guy was probably just lonely. He was told to ignore how Eridan would always boast about how his brother was probably still saving up money to buy him back, but when he overheard some of the elders talking about how sad it was he was still so delusional even when the Amporas had years ago faked Eridan's death there was no way he could stay quiet. He told Eridan, and while it took a few days the other finally believed him and somehow they became friends. Dave eventually talked Scratch into having it so Eridan was allowed out on the weekends, so long as it was far from the casino and he never said a word about "Princess Dani" to anyone. Dave had to go with him of course, and wasn't allowed to let him out of his sight, but it was something that brought them just a bit closer and Dave figured the hipster douchebag wasn't so bad after all.

Aradia Megido

The youngest daughter of Doc Scratch, Aradia has always been a cheerful girl who loved to help others. Even at a young age she could be found sneaking out of the daycare to wander around the casino floor. It was an adventure, hiding under tables and giving a few coins to people who were just having bad luck. Because everyone deserves at least one more chance. Her father wasn't pleased with her little exploits, but never did anything to stop her either. She wasn't causing any trouble or real damage, and as long as she never did anything to get herself hurt it was fine. Besides, a floor filled with assassins and bodyguards is the safest place for a little girl to play. When she met Sollux, her adventures became less and less because the boy refused to go out there for fear of running into his dad and getting in trouble, so instead her and her sister took the boy on adventures around the hotel, sometimes sitting for hours inside the elevators and wondering when Rosa was going to finally come looking for them. It was always all in good fun. When she grew up, she kept her habits about the same and was allowed to take up the position as a poker dealer at one of the tables to keep her busy. She was told that her and her sisters weren't the heiresses, but she was never informed as to who the real boss was and never knew the truth behind the "Princess" her dad took in.

Tavros Nitram

A runaway who hangs around the casino, loves playing pranks and gets kicked out by the bouncer more often than not. He spends a lot of time hanging out with the gypsy that set up shop in front of the place, taking to the man as a sort of older brother figure that was more responsible than his real brother who despite some hero worship when he was a kid never quite kept a good hold on him.

Sollux Captor

A kid with a pretty normal childhood, not knowing or really caring who his mother was and having a father who worked at the most lavish establishment in town as a blackjack/bartender. Even if his dad wasn't around much, he had computers and video games to keep him entertained, which luckily worked on him even at a young age. He was a fast learner, a prodigy child even, so his father had no issues leaving the boy home alone with orders to call him if he needs anything at all. Though there were times when he followed his dad to work, staying at the daycare in the hotel and meeting Aradia and Feferi, sisters that were the youngest daughters of Scratch. Eventually he got himself a job at the local coffee shop, not any of those big named assholes but a small one on the corner not too far from his apartment. Though being swarmed by hipsters is just barely better than corporate assholes, at least he can tell them to go fuck themselves without getting fired. Which he ends up doing ridiculously often concerning a blond douchebag with a stupid purple streak in his hair, thinking he's so cool and mimicking the style of the Princess of Hope. Hipster douchebag aside, Sollux actually managed to make a friend through his job, one disgruntled teen who would always come in a few times a day with a large order. Apparently the poor bastard was the busboy of the band that plays up at the Casino his dad works at. Despite their mutual attitude problems, Karkat and Sollux ended up friends faster than they had even noticed. He didn't even question the look on his dad's face when the man first saw Karkat, and like most things just ignored it as something he really didn't give a shit to look into. It was only when shit hit the fan with that hipster douchebag that he started asking questions, finding out just what his dad had been hiding from him all these years. And why the fuck his two best friends were apparently his aunts and no one bothered telling him.

Karkat Vantas

Oldest son of Kulira and Leona, Karkat was always a bit of a wild child growing up. Though when they found that setting him in front of a romantic movie shut him up for hours on end, his parents were amused and mildly confused. But they knew better than to look a gift horse in the mouth. He never knew what his parents did when they wandered off and left him with Auntie Rosa, or even bothered questioning why they moved when his little sister Nepeta was born and he never got to see Auntie again. Life was fine at first, until shortly after his sister's sixth birthday when people broke into their house with guns and knives. At the time he didn't understand, but he listened to his mother and the moment the bad guys had their backs turned he took off out a window pulling a crying Nepeta behind him. It was hard to see through his own tears, and when they went off into the small woods near their house he couldn't see very well. Because of his own carelessness in choosing their path, Nepeta tripped up and fell down a hill into the river below, the current too strong carrying her away. Crying even harder knowing there was nothing he could do to save his sister, he kept on running until he collapsed. Unfortunately ending him up in Derse itself, where he eventually learned to use his small size to steal things without being noticed to live on the streets. It wasn't hard for him to toughen himself up, and by the time he was fourteen and ran into four guys who looked like trouble, he had a mouth on him that wouldn't shut up for anything. Luckily for him, this time for some odd reason the leader took a liking to him and for the first time since his parents murder he found himself comfortable with a sort of family he could rely on.

However when the Crew moved into the Hope Casino and Hotel, renting out one of the penthouses there as they played as the main band, he quickly developed a distaste for anything involving Slick and Snowman, taking it upon himself to stay as far away from them as possible. Which ended up in his meeting of one Jade Harley, a girl who quickly became his BFF and insisted that he was totally her gay boyfriend, despite his many claims that he was bi. Jade was too insistent to argue with though, and that excuse was enough to allow him to sleep over in her room whenever he didn't want to hear what Slick was up to. Even when they both hit their late teens, almost full grown adults, the sleepovers were practically tradition by then and they didn't feel like breaking it anytime soon. No one in Alpha Omega have yet had the heart to tell him about his parents and why they died, wanting to respect their wishes of their child having as little involvement of the business as possible. And since he was only three when they left, he only has vague feelings of deja vu around the hotel.

Nepeta Zahhak (Leijon-Vantas)

Her parents murdered when she was six, she ended up tripping when trying to run away with her brother and fell down a steep hill into the river. By some miracle she survived, but was hit with a major case of amnesia she never quite got over. All she could remember was her first name and "Karkitty", a fuzzy black image in her mind that she could never quite place. But it was okay because a nice man found her and took her home, raised her as his own daughter and she got the most amazing big brother ever in the process. She loves her (new) family, and followed Equius around everywhere he went for the longest time. When her brother got a job as a bouncer at the local casino, she was told she had to stay home because her dad didn't want her in a place like that when she was underage. It was only with lots of failed pouts and begging that she finally gave up, and when Equius started avoiding telling her how his work went she stopped asking. To the knowledge of Alpha Omega, she's still missing.

Kanaya Maryam

She's always been mature for her age, barely even phased when she learned that her mother was leaving and only pleased that the woman took her own interests into consideration despite her age. She wasn't really a fighter, preferring to simply tend to the wounded and especially their poor damaged clothing. And, above all, design the dresses for the "Princess" and see her work posted over the billboards advertising the casino. She quickly took the place of Rosa as the mother figure, just giving off that air of someone who can step in and break up even the most vicious of arguments. She was, along with Rose, one of the ones who taught Eridan how to be a proper lady. Whether he liked it or not, she did not take insubordination well.

Terezi Pyrope

Younger sister of Redglare, she sees the elder as her idol and will do anything in her power to be like her. Most of her younger days were spent studying laws and working her way into getting into the best law school in Skaia City, determined to be just as infamous as her sister. The fact that an accident caused her to go blind is only a minor detail, not nearly enough to stop her ambition as it was already too far along by that point.

Vriska Serket

She never really knew her older sister as she was a runaway her parents never wished to speak of, but it didn't matter. She had her best friend, Eridan Ampora, who while being a bit of a tool they had a plan. Neither of them liked the whole stuffy environment given to them, they had an elaborate plan that once they got old enough they would steal a bunch of money from their parents to go to Hollywood and make it big and famous. She would be the awesome agent that everyone respected and he would be the prima dona star that made her look good. But those dreams were crushed when she got word that Eridan had died, and it was only a couple short years later that she followed in her sister's footsteps and ran away from home. She made her way as a thief and eventually caught wind of the notorious "Mindfang", automatically connecting the dots as it being her sister and she had never felt more proud of being related to someone. But she was still hard on her luck, and eventually ended up working as a bartender at Hope Casino. Despite everyone else, the moment she saw the "Princess" there was no doubt in her mind who those eyes belonged to.

Equius Zahhak

He had always been raised to believe that certain things were proper and most things were not, though the strict upbringing lessened ever so gradually as his little sister Nepeta made her way into their lives. When he was sixteen, he was automatically accepted as a bouncer for the Hope Casino and Hotel. His father was uncertain, but the pay was enough for him to accept without caring for his father's approval. And because of his pure size and power, it wasn't long before Scratch was approaching him with an offer to join Alpha Omega. He did not approve at first, but it didn't take much to convince him once he had a chat with one Jake English and Jade Harley. Because seeing that small girl sent off into a room full of bad guys all alone was not something he could stand. He's very aware that it was manipulation, but can't quite find it in him to care. Though his father must never know and he is always worried about being disowned or about Scratch turning on him and fucking everything up. It's only assurance from Jade that keeps him calm most days, added with always coming home to the smiling face of his little sister.

Gamzee Makara

Another mysterious figure, a gypsy that lingers in front of the casino selling random items and fortunes when he's not playing some sort of instrument or another. It's clear to anyone who pays attention that he's on some illegal substance or another, and he's been known to have odd phases where there is a look on his face that urges people to stay as far away as possible, but most of the time he's a nice guy who doesn't cause any trouble. While he doesn't get too close to many people for reasons he won't discuss, he took a liking to the lost boy who kept getting tossed out of the casino with a laugh. If anyone ever hurts Tavros, they would find out first hand why it's best to stay on Gamzee's good side.

Eridan Ampora

Fate pretty much fucked him over hard, his parents selling him when he was 13 in order to cover the debts his elder brother Dualscar owed to the Alpha Omega family. But even with that, he never lost his attitude that he would go back home one day. Play pretty princess for them for now and just wait for his brother to come back for him. Scratch needed a poster child to put up on ads for the business and found with the right clothing, wig and makeup Eridan did quite well in that aspect. He was near unrecognizable, which was exactly what Scratch was looking for. The motion was approved by Jake, and the casino finally had a family friendly symbol that would bring them business from all over. Eridan himself got the short end of the deal for the longest time, never allowed to leave his room in the hotel if he wasn't in costume and when he was he wasn't allowed to even make a peep as the princess was said to be born a mute. The only ones he was even allowed to talk to were Rose, Kanaya and Dirk and that was eventually extended to Dave when the other was allowed to know about him. When Dave told him the truth though, his hope turned bitter and he refused to even respond to the name Ampora any longer. As far as he was concerned, he was officially a Strider and only wanted to prove himself worthy of being an official part of Alpha Omega.

When he was allowed out on his weekends finally, he spent all of his time at the shooting range across town. Jake took an immediate liking to him and his skill with a gun, but never once let on that he knew who Eridan was. Eridan himself made it his personal goal to train there every chance he got, and when he wasn't there then he was at a coffee shop relaxing. And harassing a certain Captor for his own amusement.

Feferi Peixes

The second youngest child of Doc Scratch, she is just so EXCITED about living in a hotel casino. Though she was born there and never really knew anything else, she figures anywhere else would be pretty boring and not nearly as fun. Childhood spent playing around the hotel with Aradia and Sollux, she quickly grew into wishing that maybe one day she could take over the place despite knowing that it was for someone else their father wouldn't tell them of. It was only a minor detail though, so long as the family continued bringing peace to the city and the new boss was just as nice as her dad then it would be okay. She works as a bartender for the casino on some days and at the reception desk for the hotel at others. She's always really nice to the sweet princess that her father wants her to keep her distance from, and never quite understood why her big sister told her she shouldn't get involved with Sollux Captor. But despite her complaints, when even Shera stepped in and suggested against it she relented and decided that maybe they should just stay best friends. Even if that meant having to share that best friend status with her sister, something told her that Sollux really liked the two thing so it was okay.
